I guess my girlfriend got sick of me wailing when I would sing and play guitar, so she got me some singing lessons as a birthday present almost over a year ago now. Anyways, at the end of last year, my singing teacher organised a concert for all of her students to perform in. It was pretty awesome. People from all ages and experience overcoming their inhibitions to sing infront of everybody else. I even manged to not fuck up the Mountain Goats song I played and sang on guitar too bad =). If i ever find the inspiration to write some songs, I might make this sort of thing a more regular occurrence for me. It was so fun.
